MRLs for cattle tissues were considered at the present meeting but not recommended.

THE TEMPORARY MRLS FOR MUSCLE, LIVER, KIDNEY, AND FAT OF CATTLE RECOMMENDED AT THE FIFTY-FOURTH MEETING (2000) WERE NOT EXTENDED. A SEPARATE MRL OF 0.3 mg/KG FOR SKIN WITH ADHERING FAT IN PIGS WAS RECOMMENDED TO REFLECT THE HIGH CONCENTRATIONS FOUND IN THE SKIN OF THAT SPECIES.
