    1967 EVALUATIONS OF SOME PESTICIDE RESIDUES IN FOOD

    Committee on Pesticide Residues, which met in Rome, 4 - 11 December,

    PIPERONYL BUTOXIDE

    This pesticide was evaluated by the 1966 Joint Meeting of the FAO
    Working Party and the WHO Expert Committee on Pesticide Residues
    (FAO/WHO, 1967). Since no additional information has become available
    on this compound only the recommendations for tolerances contained in
    the previous report are repeated below.

    RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TOLERANCES

    Temporary tolerances until 31 December 1972

         Cereal and cereal products         20 ppm

         Fresh fruits for canning only      8 ppm

         Dried fruits, tree nuts, dried
         vegetables, peanuts and oil
         seeds                              8 ppm
