5. Summary of Data Reported and Evaluation
5.1 Animal data
Aurothioglucose is carcinogenic in mice after its administration by
single intraperitoneal injection: it produced an increased incidence
of hepatomas in male mice.
5.2 Human data
No case reports or epidemiological studies were available to the
Working Group.
