5. Summary of Data Reported and Evaluation
5.1 Animal data
Guinea green B has been tested in mice and rats by oral administration
and in rats by ambient exposure and subcutaneous injection. It was
carcinogenic in rats, producing hepatic tumours after its oral
administration, local sarcomas after its subcutaneous injection and
benign mammary tumours following ambient exposure.
5.2 Human data
No case reports or epidemiological studies were available to the
Working Group.
