Explanation
This pesticide was evaluated in 1965 (FAO/WHO, 1965b)* and further
data were considered in 1967 (FAO/WHO, 1968b).*
At the Fourth Session of the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues
attention was drawn to variations in the records of Joint Meetings
with regard to the tolerances for peaches, apricots and citrus fruit;
the report on the 1967 meeting (FAO/WHO, 1968a)* lists the tolerance
figure as 0.5 whereas the corresponding monograph (FAO/WHO, 1968b)*
lists it as 1.0.
Correction of the recorded tolerances recommendations for "peaches"
apricots and citrus fruit" and for "other fresh fruit"
After considering the monographs for the 1965 and 1967 Joint Meetings
together with relevant data, the Meeting agreed that the
recommendation in the table of the report on the 1967 Meeting
(FAO/WHO, 1968a)* was erroneous and that the tolerance figures
recommended should be recorded as:
Peaches, apricots and citrus fruits - 1 ppm
Other fresh fruit - 0.5 ppm
